Hi, I'm Janessa! I love photography and shoot a wide range of personal and commission work.

Ever since I was old enough to hold a camera without breaking it, I have been recording memories. Graduating my way from child-proof cameras to ... not-so-child-proof-cameras ... I started out in the exciting world of film photography. Like a good book you hold in your hands, turn the pages, and the amazing smell of that book, film photography holds a similar place in my heart.

When I was 22 I yielded my first DSLR Nikon D40 and have acquired along the way ... in addition to my many film cameras ... new Nikon models with my primary camera being my Nikon D800.

The journey has not been easy and I am not done yet! I could not do this alone and I have such great appreciation for those who stand by me, support me, and encourage me. Thanks to my family and my friends, especially my mom. I could not have done this without them. They have made their footprint in my life and I will not soon forget that.
